Wednesday, 15 March 2017Minhaj Sister League France organized a first study circle on the topic of Hijab. The event started with the recitation of the Holy Quran (Surah Al-Jumu’ah) by sister Uzma, followed by Durood-e-Pak and a Nasheed by sister Mahira. Sister Rehana explained what is Hijab according to the Sunnah and what Quran says about it. Masha Allah, number of participants was around 30. It was an informative and very interactive study circle.
Tuesday, 14 March 2017A group of 13 young women conducted a sponsored walk from Jamia Masjid Minhaj ul Quran Brunswick Street Nelson to the Singing Ringing Tree in the landscape of the Pennine Hills overlooking Burnley in aid of Syria and Palestine on Sunday 26th February 2017. The sponsored walk was organised by Minhaj Sisters UK (Nelson) in cooperation with Minhaj Welfare Foundation under the Raising Smiles 2017 project.
Saturday, 31 December 2016On 31st December 2016 Minhaj-ul-Quran International, in association with MWL UK Halifax organised an annual Milad-un-Nabi (ﷺ) programme for women at the Jamia Madni Masjid in Halifax. The event had an excellent turnout with a large number of sisters and their children attending.
Saturday, 3 December 2016The event started with the recitation of the Holy Quran by little brother Mohammad Subhaan and Hamd by Sister Sobia Shazad. Qaseeda Burda Sharif was read by all the sisters together. Sister Sobia (MWL Oldham, General Secretary) and Sister Tania (MWL Oldham, Media Secretary) were the main moderators of the programme and were the driving forces behind the Nasheed reciters and other participants.
Sunday, 1 January 2017A talk was delivered by Khadijah Atkinson on the topic of developing our character in accordance with that of our beloved Prophet ﷺ at a Mawlid-un-Nabi (peace and blessings be upon him) event organized by MWL Accington. Mrs Atkinson threw light on importance of gaining knowledge. £150 was raised in Book sales for Minhaj Publication. All books by his eminence Shaykh-ul-Islam who takes no royalties and all funds are recycled into producing more literature.
Sunday, 4 December 2016By the Grace of Almighty Allah (SWT) and his beloved Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), a great Mawlid-un-Nabi (ﷺ) Conference was arranged by MWL London in the honour of our beloved Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) on Sunday 4th December 2016, at the Minhaj-ul-Quran International London.
Sunday, 25 December 2016By the Grace of Almighty Allah (SWT) and His Beloved Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) Minhaj-ul-Quran Sisters & Women League (The Hague, Netherlands) organized a Milaad Mehfil-e-Naat in the centre of The Hague. The program took place on 25th of December. Approximately 200 ladies attended this program. The program was hosted by sister Adeela Nazir. She welcomed everyone and thanked the audience for attending the event.
Sunday, 25 December 2016On the 25th of December 2016, by the Grace and the Blessings of Almighty Allah and the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings be upon Him), Minhaj Sister League (MSL) organised an event named « New Year Resolutions in the light of the Sira of Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) » at Minhaj-ul-Quran, La Courneuve.
Thursday, 5 January 2017PAT Chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has congratulated the office bearers and workers of Minhaj Women League on its 29th foundation day. He said that women belonging to MWL rendered wonderful services in the fields of education, moral training and human service in a short span of time. He said that they also played their full role in standing up to oppressive system and eliminating social evils in addition to spreading light of knowledge. He said that the political role of the women during the sit-in of 2014 is a golden chapter in the annals of the country’s history on which they can rightly take pride in.
Saturday, 3 December 2016On the 3rd of December 2016, Minhaj Women League Demark held their great annual conference at Valby center to celebrate Milaad-un-Nabi (peace and blessings be upon him). The event was attended by a large amount of sisters and children from Copenhagen and the surrounding areas.
Sunday, 4 December 2016On the 4th of December 2016, by the Grace of Almighty Allah and the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), for the first time in France’s history, a Mawlid-un-Nabi (peace and blessings be upon him) gathering was organized under the aegis of Minhaj Sister League at Minhaj-ul-Quran, La Courneuve. This event was sponsored by Minhaj Welfare France and it was held under the leadership and supervision of Sister Rehana Altaf, President Minhaj Sister League and her entire team.
Friday, 30 September 2016Minhaj Sisters London organised a small gathering with Alima Faiza Qadri (who is currently based in Dallas, working for MQI). The topic of the gathering was Sisterhood. The session began with the beautiful recitation of the Holy Quran and Durood upon the Prophet ﷺ recited by Hafisa Amina Hussain (student of MQI). Sister Khadijah Atkinson hosted this session with an ice breaker whereby sisters introduced themselves to each other with a short description after which Detective Chief Inspector Shabnam Choudry gave a short message on sisterhood...
Thursday, 8 December 2016Addressing the oath-taking ceremony of the Minhaj Women League at the central secretariat, PAT Chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that the Panama leaks issue will die its own death. He said that if the proposal for establishment of the commission was accepted, it would be nothing less than a political suicide.
Monday, 10 October 2016Minhaj-ul-Quran Sisters London would like to thank Southampton MWL for inviting its members to participate in this year’s Muharram Programme. Khadijah delivered a passionate talk on some basics of Muharram and shared some important facts around the great Sayindina Fatima (RA) and Sayindina Hussain (RA). She ended with a message from Shaykh-ul-Islam around the importance and significance of this sacred month.

It is needless to say that Sayyida Zaynab (AS) is one of the pivotal personalities whose courage, integrity and steadfastness during this tragedy, has set a great example for Muslim women.
Tuesday, 6 December 2016Classes are being held every Sunday since September 2015 that are taught by Allama Hassan Mir Qadri. Minhaj-us-Sawi written by Shaykh-ul-slam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, was taught to the attendees. Mash’Allah, the number of sisters who attended the class was more than 50. They were amazed by the way that Allama Hassan Mir teaches: every sister can understand even if she doesn’t speak Urdu well.
Sunday, 20 November 2016The Minhaj Women’s League Rotterdam (Netherlands) held a special program about ‘Salah’ on the 20th of November 2016. There were around 90 women who attended this program to benefit from the knowledge that was shared by our special guest. The special guest of this program was Mrs. Sumaira Faisal who gave a lecture about ‘The Philosophy of Salah’.
Wednesday, 19 October 2016The Macmillan tea party was a wonderful afternoon with a great selection of cakes and deserts and insightful talks from a few individuals and also Doctor Farrakh. Over £420 was raised on the day. There was a bake off where brother Muzammel came in first place but donated his prize to the MYL brothers who won 2 tickets to an ice hockey game. Sister Aneesa won an afternoon tea for 2 in Central London with her impressive cheesecake.
