UK: Monthly spiritual gathering held by MQI (Walsall)

Minhaj-ul-Quran International (Walsall chapter) organized a monthly spiritual gathering on May 4, 2014 to mark the occasion of ‘Giyarvi Shareef’. More than 35 women attended the programme. Miss Lubna conducted the proceedings of the programme.

The gathering opened with a recitation of the Holy Quran by Sister Zarina followed by Nasheed which were presented by Khadija, Fatima, Nafeesa, Rahila, Tehreem and Zara. Urdu speech was delivered by Sister Shaihla, whereas Sister Rahila and Sister Janeeba gave their talk in English language. Sister Rahila, in her speech, talked about the importance of month of Rajab. Sister Shaihla delivered a short but meaningful speech on how to acquire the love of Allah. One of our youth sisters, Janeeba delivered a speech on the love of Prophet ( SAW ). Sister Razia (Welfare Secretary) explained the need of taking care of the poor and the needy and sought attendees’ support for various Minhaj Welfare projects and appealed to the audience to sponsor the orphan children. Mehfil concluded with salaam and dua.
