A delegation of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League led by Secretary General Aneela Ilyas attended a ceremony held under the banner of Consulate General of Iran in connection with the birth of Sayyida Fatima-tuz-Zahra (S.A). The ceremony was organized by Imamia Organization Pakistan on April 4, 2016. A large number of women belonging to various walks of life, including the wife of former Governor Punjab, Nazia Gardezi, President of Imamia Organization, and central leader of Jamat-e-Islami Ms. Raheela Qazi attended the ceremony.

Addressing the ceremony, Aneela Ilyas paid rich tributes to Sayyida Fatima-tuz-Zahra (S.A). She said that the revered Syed gave such a family to the world of Islam that sacrificed their lives to uphold the banner of truth. She said that the sacrifice offered by the great Imam and support provided to him by Sayyida Zainab (S.A) gives a message to the humanity that women can play a transformational role in society. She said that it is the lap of the mother which is the first learning place for the kids. She said that the mothers have a central role to play in the character-building of their kids who can go on to become the architect of nations. She said that this explains why the women have added responsibility in society.
