Continuing his series of keynote speeches during Itikaf, MQI founding-leader Saykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri said that the way to reach God is through inquiry, and for inquiry, one must immerse oneself in the Holy Quran. He said that if someone is earnestly seeking absolute beauty and fulfills all the requirements of that quest, then they will surely find the way, and access will be granted to them. He said that believers need ongoing attention to keep enhancing their faith. The more attacks on faith there are, the more efforts must be made to safeguard it, he opined.

Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri made these remarks in his second address to thousands of the participants of Itikaf City in Lahore. He said that in today's era, there are countless factors weakening faith, with the mobile phone being the biggest facilitator. He said that even after finding guidance, the need for guidance remains.

“Even after attaining the wealth of faith, there is a need to strengthen it,” he maintained.

He emphasized the importance of protecting the morals and conduct of our youth from the trials of disbelief.

"We are not making a conscious effort to acquire or preserve faith. This is why today's youth are scattered like pieces of clay that can be carried away by the slightest breeze," he said.

The MQI leader mentioned that previously there were healing centers, but unfortunately, now illness centers have opened up. Online groups have emerged under the name of ex-Muslims, propagating disbelief. He said that they are running persistent online groups, facing countless miseries in their own lives, yet they are not on the path of guidance. He made it clear that the preservation of faith is possible through the Quran, and for this preservation, good company and companionship are necessary.

"Those who exerted themselves in righteous endeavors and remained steadfast in them, Allah has granted them further guidance," he quoted from the Quran.

Maintaining meetings and relationships with those who seek meetings with Allah Almighty provides us with some manifestations, effects, and qualities of that meeting, Dr Qadri said.
