Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, the founding leader and patron-in-chief of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, has condemned the bomb blast in Peshawar today. In a statement issued here by the Directorate of Media and Public Relations, he said that those who perpetuated this heinous and despicable crime were enemies of the entire humanity and did not have anything to do with any religion. He said that Islam condemned terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. He expressed his sympathies with the bereaved families over the deaths of their near and dear ones and prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed souls in peace. He also prayed for the early recovery of the injured.
