MQI (London) takes part in Noor-ul-Islam Fete

With the Grace of Allah and His Beloved Prophet (S.A.W.), Minhaj Women’s League (Walthamstow London) set up a stall at the Noor ul Islam Summer Fete which took place in The Leyton Youth Centre on the 29th and 30th June 2013.

With guidance from The MWL, London President Mrs Zareda Shafiq, Mrs Rukhsana Sarfraz and her team made all the necessary arrangements of booking and setting up the stalls at the two-day event. This annual event attracts thousands of people from all walks of life. Mrs Rukhsana Sarfraz and her team set up a face painting and Mehndi stall, a clothes and toys stall, Minhaj Welfare Foundation stall, a book stall and a Minhaj Dawah project stall offering free Books and CDs of lectures delivered by his eminence Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri on varies topics including Translations of the Quran, Bidah, Asking Allah for forgiveness, Tarke Guna (Giving up bad deeds), The rights of husband and wife, The signs of Qayamat, And the Fatwah by Muhammed Tahir ul Qadri.

In addition to distributing these CDs, the aims and objectives of Minhaj ul Qur’an were discussed. These discussions had quite a varied response. However many people were happy to listen and even gave their contact details. Alhamdulillah, the Women’s League had a successful event and are happy that the message and invitation of MQI reached those ears that were either unaware or had a different opinion of MQI.
