Spiritual gatherings held in Ramazan under MQI Sheffield

Minhaj Women League Tinsley, Sheffield, organized a Halqa-e-Durood sessions during the whole month of Ramazan. A large number of women attended these sessions held at Tinsley, Islam Centre. The proceedings for the Halqa-e-Durood were opened by Sister Nasreen Akhtar (Dawah Secretary) with recitation of the Glorious Qur'an. This was then followed by Darood Sharif which was recited for around 30-40 minutes by all the attendees. The amount of Darood Sharif read has been recorded and passed on at national level by the Dawah secretary so it can be presented at Gosha-e-Darood at MQI Lahore.

To follow on from the recitation of Darood Sharif, short clips of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri's lectures on the topic of ‘Iman and the Virtues of Darood Sharif’ were shown to all sisters to enlighten their hearts and enhance the spiritual feeling of the blessed gathering.

Sister Khalda Khan (President) then discussed the topics further with the sisters and engaged the audience with a question and answer to embed the knowledge gained from the clips.

The gathering was concluded with a selection of beautiful Naats, recited by various community members. Then Ayesha Mirza (General Secretary) led the Zikr before concluding the spiritual gathering with Salaam and Dua.

The turnout remained overwhelming and the gatherings were successful. The participants benefitted from these programmes. The Halqa-e-Durood continued on weekly basis.
