MWL Oldham organises a Milaad-un-Nabi (ﷺ) gathering

The event started with the recitation of the Holy Quran by little brother Mohammad Subhaan and Hamd by Sister Sobia Shazad. Qaseeda Burda Sharif was read by all the sisters together. Sister Sobia (MWL Oldham, General Secretary) and Sister Tania (MWL Oldham, Media Secretary) were the main moderators of the programme and were the driving forces behind the Nasheed reciters and other participants. Minhaj Durood was recited by all attendees and was collected. Then wazaif were recited by all the sisters present in the mehfil followed by Sister Farzana Qadri (MWL Oldham, Dawah Secretary). Approximately 300 sisters were in attendance.

Sister Musarrat Hussain (MWL UK, Vice President), Sister Madiha (MWL UK, General Secretary) and Sister Amina (MWL UK, Joint General Secretary) were special guests at the event.

All the ladies who attended the mehfil recited heart touching Naats in Urdu and Punjabi. The audience was enthralled and engaged in the recitation of the Nasheeds. Sister Farzana (MWL Oldham, Dawah Secretary) and little brother Mohammad Subhaan recited a beautiful emotional Naat.

Sister Musarrat Hussain delivered a very absorbing speech on how our beloved Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) was a mercy to mankind and educated people on the love and informed the audience of the respect of the beloved Sahaba, trees, animals and inanimate objects towards our beloved Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ). She highlighted the significance of the celebration of Mawlid-al-Nabi (ﷺ). She also pointed out the effort of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Mohammad Tahir-ul-Qadri for spreading the global message of love, peace, harmony, forbearance and protection of human rights. This informative speech was following by a beautiful Naat by Sister Madiha and Sister Amina.

Sister Samina Qadri (MWL Oldham, President) thanked all the guests present for taking time out and joining together as one to celebrate the blessed birth of our most beloved Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ). Sister Farzana concluded the event with Salam and Dua, and khatam was read by little brother Mohammad Subhaan. A cake was cut in celebration of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) birthday. Dinner was also served at the end of the event.
