MWL Accrington held their Monthly Gyarveen Shareef Mehfil on Thursday 28th February 2019 Alhamdulillah! The Mehfil was initiated with the recitation of the Glorious Quran with translation followed by melodious naat by MWL member Bajee Shahzeen. An inspiring and heart touching reminder was presented by an Accrington sister in which the immense blessings and importance of Durood Shareef was emphasised as the ultimate act of worship which is guaranteed acceptance. Furthermore, MWL Senior Member Bajee Rifat introduced the congregation to the Quranic Encyclopedia with MWL Member Bajee Shahzeen volunteering to pay for a set for the local Masjid of Accrington (Ghousia Masjid) as sadaqah jariyaan. A reminder was also given to the congregation for the Islamic Studies classes for girls commencing on Saturday 2nd March 2019. The Mehfil also made a new MWL life member. We welcome this sister to this beautiful organisation in spreading the message of peace of our beloved messenger of Allah (S.A.W). Bajee Rifat concluded the gathering with an emotional dua in which Durood Shareef in excess of 17000 and 20 Surat Yaseen was presented as a gift to our glorious prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) and his family.
