MWL launches Milad celebration plan

Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League (MWL) launched a comprehensive plan for the blessed month of Rabi-ul-Awwal at a ceremony. The plan has been presented for women, kids and families and provides detailed guidelines as to how they can spend this month and reap benefits from the spiritual blessings of Allah Almighty.

President MWL Mrs. Farah Naz gave a welcome note during the ceremony, which was followed by an interactive session chaired by Nazima MWL Miss Sidra Karamat. She sought views of the audience about the plan and invited participants to share their feedback about the working. This session was closed after taking views of the members.

The next session was divided in three further sub-sessions which were chaired by the three respective departments of Women League that are taking part in the celebration plan. Director Eagers Aimen Yousaf, Head Dawah department Anila Ilyas and President MSM Sisters Iqra Yousaf Jami presented their 50-day plan for the month of Rabi ul Awwal. It was followed by a briefing on the effective use of social media by Director Social Media Jaweria Waheed.

Chairman Supreme Council MQI Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri was the chief guest of the ceremony. He addressed the event and deriving relevance to the concept of love from a narration by Imam Ghazali, he motivated the attendees to execute the Rabi-ul-Awal plan launched by MWL with spiritual devotion and love of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).

Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri appreciated the entire team for this unique initiative which will bolster the culture of celebrating Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) with festivity and spiritual strength.

Senior MQI officials including Brig. Iqbal Ahmed (Retd.), Sayyid Altaf Hussain, G.M Malik, Noorullah Siddiqi and Irfan Yousaf also joined the launching ceremony.
