Love of Allah and Love of the Messenger ﷺ Are Inseparable: Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri

Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League (MWL) organized a Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ reception at the Central Secretariat of Minhaj-ul-Quran International. A large number of women, students, office-bearers of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League, and representatives from various fields attended the event.

The program commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Qariah Ayesha Zainab, followed by a Hamd in praise of Allah Almighty by Hibba Noor. The honor of presenting Naat-e-Rasool Maqbool ﷺ was bestowed upon Arsah Sajid, a student of Minhaj College for Women, along with Khadija and fellow members; Qira’at-ul-Ain Zainab, Maimoona Zafar and fellow members; Qariah Sidra Anwar; and Seema Qira’at-ul-Ain.

Addressing the Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ reception online, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri spoke in detail about the profound relationship between the love of Allah Almighty and love for the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. He said that whoever desires the love and nearness of Allah should attach themselves to the Beloved of Allah ﷺ, and whoever seeks true servitude to Allah should embrace the servitude of the Holy Prophet ﷺ.

He said that through the human aspect of the personality of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, Muslims have been blessed with his Uswa-e-Hasana (excellent example), while the practical model of patience and forbearance has also been granted to us through his blessed human life. For a lover of the Messenger ﷺ, it is essential to mold one’s own conduct and manner according to that of the Beloved of Allah ﷺ. Love reaches its perfection when a person effaces their own ego and identity in devotion to the beloved.

Shaykh-ul-Islam further stated that loving the places touched by the blessed feet of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ is also an expression of faith. He emphasized that the purpose of our lives should be such that, when we depart from this mortal world, we are remembered as followers who lived their lives in devotion and love for the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

Speaking on the occasion, Hafiza Sehr Amberin, a leader of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League, welcomed the distinguished guests, Women League office-bearers, students, and all participants. She said that the fundamental purpose of the Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ reception was to further kindle love and reverence for the sacred person of the Holy Prophet ﷺ in the hearts of the people and to make his Seerah and Uswa-e-Hasana an integral part of their lives.

She said that the Milad of Mustafa ﷺ is a great blessing from Allah Almighty and provides believers with an excellent opportunity to express their love, devotion, and gratitude. She stressed the need to incorporate the message of the Seerah of the Holy Prophet ﷺ into our practical lives.

Khalid Javed, Deputy Editor of Minhaj University Newsletter; Ms. Kulsoom Tariq, Director of Training at Khadija Hostel, Minhaj College for Women; Ms. Umm-e-Habiba Ismail, Assistant Professor at Minhaj College for Women; Mrs. Rana Farooq, along with Women League office-bearers, students, and a large number of women.

The event concluded with a special prayer for the safety and well-being of the Muslim Ummah, the progress and prosperity of the country and nation, unity and stability, and peace and security.
