Shaykh-ul-Islam, Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri established the Minhaj-ul-Quran International (MQI) on 17 October 1980 to illumine the hearts of the Muslims with the true light of faith sent down by Allah through his last of the Messengers and void all false prevalent beliefs that generate extremism, fanaticism and terrorism and eliminate peace from the surface of the earth.
