Hazrat Khadijah al-Kubra holds a prominent position in Islamic history

Ms. Sidra Karamat, the central vice president of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League (MWL), has said that Hazrat Khadijah al-Kubra (salam Allah alayha) was the first and foremost companion of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). She had countless virtues and merits, but the prominent aspect was that she was a partner in every joy and sorrow of her esteemed husband.

She said that the Mother of Believers, Hazrat Khadijah al-Kubra (salam Allah alayha), holds the status of a role model for Muslim women worldwide. She was a successful businesswoman who sacrificed all her wealth in the path of Islam. Hazrat Khadijah al-Kubra (salam Allah alayha), she said, was an unparalleled woman. Even after her departure, the Holy Prophet (PBUH) remembered her fondly. She was the first woman to embrace Islam and the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was blessed with her companionship.

Sidra Karamat said that due to her noble character, high morals, exemplary conduct, and dignity, Hazrat Khadijah al-Kubra (salam Allah alayha) was renowned by the title of "Tahira." She further stated that the expressions of joy on the occasion of the union of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) with Hazrat Khadijah (RA) are evidence of her unparalleled and exemplary sacrifices. The Holy Prophet (PBUH) said, "By Allah, Khadijah believed in me when people rejected me, and Khadijah gave me a place when people denied me, and it is from Khadijah that Allah has blessed me with children."

Sidra Karamat said that Hazrat Khadijah al-Kubra (salam Allah alayha) held a distinguished position not only as a respected and wealthy woman of the Arabs but also in knowledge, virtue, faith, and conviction. In the conference held at the central secretariat of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League titled "Hazrat Khadijah al-Kubra (salam Allah alayha) Conference," Anila Ilyas, Umm-e-Habiba Ismail, Ayesha Mubasher, Lubna Mushtaq, Kulsoom Qamar, Saadia Malik, Noreen Alvi, and other women leaders participated.
