Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League (MWL) Shorkot Cantt organized a grand Seerat-un-Nabi ﷺ Conference aimed at spreading the light of the Holy Prophet’s (ﷺ) blessed life among women and encouraging a deeper understanding of the teachings of the Holy Qur’an. The event commenced with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an. Hosting duties were performed by Sister Sania Shakoor, while the welcome address was delivered by Ms. Fauzia Kausar, President of MWL Shorkot Cantt.
Following this, Ms. Anum Zaheer presented heartfelt naat poetry in praise of the Holy Prophet ﷺ, which deeply moved the audience and filled the atmosphere with love and devotion for the Messenger ﷺ. Distinguished guests at the conference included Ms. Rubina Kausar (President MWL Jhang B), Ms. Shauqia Tabassum (Scholar, MWL City 1 Islamabad), and Ms. Anum Zaheer (Scholar, Township Lahore), who all participated specially in the event.
Scholar Ms. Shauqia Tabassum delivered a powerful and comprehensive talk highlighting the blessed birth, noble character, and exemplary conduct of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. She emphasized to the women present that as Muslim women, it is essential to embody the teachings and example of the Prophet ﷺ in our behavior, speech, and daily lives to achieve success in both this world and the Hereafter. She stressed that the Prophet’s ﷺ life is a perfect model for all of us, and by following it, we can improve both our personal and collective lives.
The conference was attended by approximately 700 women. At the conclusion of the event, a lucky draw was held, in which books authored by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri and copies of Irfan-ul-Qur’an were distributed among the winners. The gathering ended with supplication (dua) and salutations (salaam) upon the Holy Prophet ﷺ.
