Knowledge without adab is nothing but a burden: Chairman Supreme Council
Address at the Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony, Minhaj College for Women Lahore
Position-holding students and outstanding faculty & staff members were awarded shields

Chairman of the Supreme Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, addressed the annual prize distribution ceremony at Minhaj Girls College on the theme of knowledge. He said that knowledge is not merely a means of earning a livelihood; it is also a means of serving humanity. Without adab (respect, etiquette, and moral refinement), knowledge becomes nothing but a burden. The most beautiful gift parents can give their daughters is to adorn them with the treasure of education. The purpose of education is not just to obtain a degree, but to become a refined, upright, and socially beneficial human being.
He emphasized that adab and taqwa (piety) hold a central place in the pursuit of knowledge. He encouraged the students to keep their complete focus on learning, stating that an educated and virtuous woman becomes a source of goodness for her home as well as for the entire society.
During the annual ceremony, position-holding students, outstanding faculty members,
and staff were awarded shields and certificates. A large number of students, teachers,
distinguished guests, and members of the administration attended the event.
