His Eminence was warmly welcomed by the MWL North Zone sisters. Sr Madiha Zeeshan (MWL North Zone General Secretary) hosted the event. Tilawat was made by Sr Fatima Sumayah & Qasidah Burdah was recited by Sr Riffat Saeed (MWL UK Coordinator).

Sr Nasreen Akhtar (MWL UK President) started with a welcome note & thanked His Eminence for the blessed opportunity of the meeting. All tanzeemat were given the opportunity to introduce themselves to His Eminence. Shaykh-ul-Islam appreciated each tanzeem's efforts.

Following this the Head of Al-Muslimah Circles Sr Nabeela and facilitators introduced themselves to His Eminence.

The Al-Muslimah Circle students were addressed by Shaykh-ul-Islam. Sister Saiqa Shaheen (MWL UK Vice President) introduced the MWL North Zone, members of the MWL UK Media Team, Irfan-ul-Hidayah, Nizamat-e-Tarbiyyat, Nizamat-e-Dawat & Minhaj-ul-Quran University Alumni.

Then His Eminence offered some spiritual guidance on the significance of the role of women in spreading the message of Islam. As they play a fundamental role in the upbringing of the future generations.

Shaykh-ul-Islam eloquently explained that the main purpose of the organisation Minhaj-ul-Quran and therefore Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League is to preserve the faith for ourselves and of the future generations. Women should not make household chores their sole purpose in life, rather they should focus on taking an active part in the spreading and propagation of the deen as stated in the Quran.

The significance of a woman is that she gives birth to children and thus plays a vital role in raising and developing them in to devoted Muslims and proactive citizens.

His Eminence advised the attendees to guide and lead their daughters to become pure believers by leading by example. Shaykh-ul-Islam congratulated all the teams of MWL North Zone and UK and prayed for their wellbeing.
