On the occasion of Mother’s Day, Dr. Ghazala Qadri, President of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League International, stated that a person attains recognition and status in society through the sacrifices of their mother. She emphasized that in Islam, every day is a day to acknowledge the greatness of a mother and serve her, as mothers play a key role in nurturing children and building a civilized and exemplary society.

She said that a mother is a great blessing, whose love, care, and prayers influence a person throughout their life. A mother is a child’s first school, first teacher, and first mentor, nurturing not only physical growth but also spiritual, moral, and intellectual development.

Dr. Ghazala Qadri noted that throughout human history, civilizations, and religions around the world, the bond with a mother has been valued. However, the respect and high status accorded to mothers in Islam serve as a role model for every nation, religion, and civilization.

She highlighted that Sheikh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has presented a vision for the creation of a Mustafawi society through Knowledge Centers, under which 25,000 centers of learning are being established across Pakistan, with the role of the mother placed at the highest importance in this vision.

Dr. Ghazala Qadri urged everyone to love their mothers, honor them, and benefit from this divine blessing through prayers and service as much as possible, emphasizing that a mother’s prayers are the greatest source of strength and motivation for a person. She added that in today’s technological age, the sacred human bonds are weakening, and this gap should be bridged through personal attention and care.
