Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League Pakistan organized Shaykh-ul-Islam Day program to commemorate and pay tribute to the lifelong services, visionary leadership, and intellectual contributions of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Ghazala Qadri, Mrs. Fizzah Hussain Qadri and other guests.

The keynote address was delivered by Dr. Ghazala on the topic: “Religious Renewal in the Contemporary Era: Intellectual Vision & Contributions of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri.”

In her address, Dr. Ghazala elaborated that religious renewal (tajdeed) is a balanced and scholarly process rooted in authentic Islamic teachings while effectively addressing contemporary challenges. She explained that Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has presented a profound intellectual framework that combines spiritual purification, academic rigor, and practical reform. His contributions, she noted, have played a transformative role in reviving a message of peace, moderation, and constructive engagement in modern society.

She further stressed that true tribute to such visionary leadership lies not only in celebration but in commitment; commitment to knowledge, character building, following the Seerah of Holy Prophet (PBUH). The event also featured addresses by other respected speakers. The event concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony.
