Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League has started AL-Hidayah project to spread the learning of Quran among the women. In this regard, while addressing the inaugural ceremony held in regional office of Defense, Chief Guest Ms. Fizza Hussain Qadri said that the biggest cause of the increasing extremism is the distance from the Quranic teachings. She added that it was unavoidable need of contemporary era to concentrate on the religious training and education of women to promote the Islamic values and traditions and to establish peaceful society.
Ms. Fizza Hussain Qadri said that this project was commenced to cater to the needs of our era in line with the instructions of founder and chairman of Minhaj-ul-Quran International Dr. Muhammad Tahir Qadri. She said that women of every walk of life would be given Quranic education through special campuses, lectures and seminars according to their facility.
Dr. Samar Fatima, central president Farah Naaz, Sadia Sohail Rana, MPA, Dr. Alia Tarar, Ms. Nuzhat Gohar and others also addressed the ceremony. The prominent women belonging to different walks of life participated in the ceremony in a large number. Ms. Farah Naz, the central president of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League thanked the guests and announced that a team of women scholars have been constituted to educate the women with the Quranic teachings according to the vision and instructions of Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri. The team has been entrusted with the responsibility to supervise this religious obligation.
Sadia Sohail Rana MPA congratulated the Minhaj-ul-Quran team on launching AL-Hidayah project. She added that the essence of the faith was the teaching and learning of Quran, adding that MQI and Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri had done a commendable job by starting this project.
Dr. Alia Tarar said that AL-Hidayah team had come forward for the betterment and welfare of the Pakistani society and our future generations. She further added that she was praying for the successful completion of this project and extended her full cooperation to the team in the noble cause of spreading virtues and welfare. It is need of hour to give the children purposeful education, she concluded.
